Butterfly Roof

A Butterfly roof is angled up on the outside creating a V-shape which the two pieces meet in a valley in the midsection. Popular for modern, eco-friendly, and tropical home designs, giving homes an open feel with more natural light, however, then becoming more difficult to regulate inside temperatures. Rainwater is allowed to be collected in the valley which is beneficial for high drought areas which then flows into a downspout and rain barrell.
